Chris Brody
President and Cofounder
Chris Brody has helped transform Crescendo Designs into one of the leading designers and installers of high-end home technology from Manhattan to Montauk. An entrepreneur who began his retail career in technology more than a decade ago when he started an online A/V company, Chris moved into the luxury residential market in 2002 when he founded Crescendo with his brother, Mike.
The Southampton-based company remains at the forefront of the home technology industry thanks to his leadership, unparalleled technical expertise and unwavering commitment to superior customer service.
When not leading Crescendo, Chris spends most of his free time outdoors – either on the water or in the air – or with family and friends.
Mike Brody
Vice President and Cofounder
The man responsible for all aspects of quality control at Crescendo Designs, Mike Brody manages the firm's team of designers and works directly with clients, builders, architects and designers to ensure that every project meets his exacting standards – and exceeds client expectations.
Mike, who founded the high-end home technology design and installation company in 2002 with his brother Chris, is known for both his technical expertise and his ability to simplify the most complex systems into easily understandable, customer-focused solutions.
Married and the father of a son, a daughter (and Rhodesian Ridgeback), Mike can often be found on the golf course, driving 4x4s on the beach or cooking at home.
Steve Tulkop
System Engineer
Steve Tulkop engineers each Crescendo Design system and manages the all aspects of every project to ensure that it's installed, executed and programmed to deliver maximum satisfaction. Experienced in all facets of home technology system design, development and programming, Steve oversees our team of project managers who work with the internal sales staff, client and design professionals, as well as our manufacturer-certified installers to engineer the best possible system for each Crescendo client.
One of our original employees, Steve's been promoted four times as his responsibilities have grown with the home technology design and installation firm. An AutoCAD developer, he's also certified by the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA), Lutron, Crestron and Panasonic.
When not overseeing the installation in a client's home, Steve spends his time on home improvements and with his wife and son.
Dana La Bianca
Office Manager
Manager Dana La Bianca keeps Crescendo Designs' office humming. A member of our team for more than five years, she is responsible for all administrative functions, from accounts payable and receivable to human resources and product procurement for client projects.
Dana, who joined Crescendo as a receptionist, holds a bachelor's degree from St. Joseph's College and enjoys spending time outdoors (particularly on the water), as well as dancing, traveling and working out.
Steve Berry
Senior Design Consultant
Steve Berry brings both in-depth technical expertise and a fine design aesthetic to his role as a senior design consultant for Crescendo Designs.
An integral part of our team since 2006, Steve works with architects, interior designers, clients and contractors to create audio-visual and home automation systems that meet each individual's technology needs and works with their personal sense of style.
Before joining Crescendo, he taught college-level statistics and experimental methods courses and studied with pioneers in auditory processing. Steve holds degrees in Information Technology and Psychology from New York University and is a PhD candidate in biopsychology. He is a member of the Project Management Institute and spends his free time with his wife and two children.
Brian Farley
Senior Design Consultant
Senior design consultant Brian Farley is an industry veteran who not only builds high-end home entertainment solutions; he builds long-lasting, personal relationships with his clients.
Brian's 20-plus years of experience span all facets of the industry from designing and marketing such industry-leading systems as Meridian, B&W, Runco, Crestron, Mark Levinson, Krell and VTL.A to most recently serving as principal of Avent Marketing, a manufacturer's representative for high-end audio brands. He brings this in-depth knowledge and superior service commitment to Crescendo, where he works directly with clients, architects, builders and designers.
A gifted musician who studied and plays both the violin and piano, Brian is married and the father of two daughters.
Jennifer Klestinez
Design Consultant
The liaison between clients and our team of certified technicians and installers, Jennifer Klestinez works with architects, interior designers, homeowners and contractors to create system solutions that meet each individual's audio-video and home technology needs, as well as their personal style.
Jennifer approaches each assignment as an opportunity to build a relationship with a client that will last far beyond the project's completion. She is a graduate of Syracuse University and lives with her high school sweetheart and young daughter in Center Moriches, where she enjoys yoga, reading and painting.
RJ Hogan
Project Manager
Crescendo Designs project manager RJ Hogan manages all aspects of client installations from start to finish. A manufacturer-certified professional who began installing systems for Crescendo clients when the company was founded in 2002, RJ's in-depth experience is an asset on-site, as well as when communicating with clients and crew members.
Responsible for quality control in the field, RJ is an expert in video calibration, project management and system programming. He holds certifications from the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF), Runco, Crestron, InfocomCTS, Control 4 and the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA).
RJ is married to Lisa, has three dogs and two cats and enjoys brewing his own beer, photography, movies and books.
Robert Meyer
Project Manager
As a project manager at Crescendo Designs, Robert Meyer cultivates and maintains positive client relationships by proactively managing the logistical challenges of every project.
Known for both his expertise in workflow management and client-focused perspective, Robert works to exceed client expectations, maintaining ongoing contact throughout the project. He also continually enhances his technical skill set, particularly in the area of Crestron, Lutron and Control4 integration.
A member of the Crescendo team since 2007, Robert is married and the father of three and spends what little free time he has going to concerts, playing the drums and supporting the New York Islanders and Bare Bones Repertory Company.
Terry Wahl
Service Manager
Terry Wahl has spent his entire professional life in the electronics field and brings that knowledge to bear as the service manager at Crescendo Designs.
Responsible for managing and scheduling all client service visits, Terry coordinates with the installers and the client to resolve any issues that may arise to ensure the client's ultimate satisfaction. Recognized for his service-focused approach, Terry is also an adept problem solver who listens to, and resolves, issues in a timely fashion.
A graduate of Stony Brook University, he joined Crescendo in 2010. When not working with our clients, Terry composes song for, and plays, guitar and also enjoys snowboarding and reading.
John Wells
Programmer
John Wells designs custom software solutions that enable Crescendo Designs' clients to easily control all facets of their home technology system, including lighting, climate, shades, audio, video, access control and security. Known for his ability to make even the most complicated system easy to use, John has in-depth experience in home automation programming, computer networking, home theater set up and calibration
A member of the Crescendo team since the beginning, he is certified by the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF), Runco, Crestron, and the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA).
John also is a car enthusiast who travels frequently and enjoys music and movies.
Jamison Malasko
Warehouse Manager
Jamison Malaskio ensures that the high-end home technology Crescendo Designs specs and installs arrive at their final destinations on time and working properly. As our warehouse manager, he works with the project managers and our operations manager to prep each component for delivery and installation.
Jamison, who joined our team in 2010, holds a bachelor degree from Quinnipiac University and is an avid sports enthusiast, movie-goer and video gamer.
